What is ISO/IEC 27001:2017 

ISO/IEC 27001:2017 is an Information security management standard (ISMS) that structures how businesses should manage risk associated with information security threats; including policies, procedures, and staff training.

Defined within the ISO 27001 standard are information security guidelines. requirements intended to protect our organisation’s data assets from loss or unauthorised access and recognised means of demonstrating our commitment to information security management through certification. ISO 27001, includes a risk assessment process, organisational structure, Information classification, Access control mechanisms, physical and technical safeguards, Information security policies, procedures, monitoring and reporting guidelines.

By gaining an ISO 27001 certification, KA2 can assure our customers, partners and other stakeholders that our company’s information security infrastructure meets their expectations.

What is ISO 9001 

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard that is designed to be a powerful business improvement tool. Organisations such as KA2, use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.

An ISO 9001 quality management system will help us to continually monitor and manage quality across our business so that we can identify areas for improvement. It is the world’s most widely adopted Quality Management System (QMS).
