Open Discussion: Impact of COVID-19

The COVID-19 virus has impacted every area of our lives on an unprecedented scale. Many of us are currently based full time at home, physically separated from our colleagues and our recognised places of work. These enforced changes have raised lots of challenges and questions:

    • Has the way we work changed forever?
    • How do we continue to deliver our IT Services with the same rigor and quality?
    • How can ITSM help manage the new ways of working?

During this open discussion, we’ll explore the challenge of reshaping our working practices and the tools we need to use and invest in to ensure we remain operational whilst focused on the welfare of our teams and the resiliency and security of the business.

About The KA2 Smarter Forums

The purpose of the forums is to continue to develop the format and establishment of our discrete new platform, in a ‘Chatham House rule’, non-sales driven environment which enables a group of like-minded practitioners to openly share business related issues and explore new thinking. By leveraging our combined knowledge and hands-on experience, we will be better able to examine precisely what more we need from Service Management and what can be done to further enhance this important business function. These highly collaborative get-togethers will also enable the participants to produce practical answers to real-world user challenges and create high value solutions which will be key to continuing success and future business development.

Focussed and relevant.

With the last sessions focusing on several high priority topics related to ServiceNow and Service Management, we intend to continue much of those discussion points with a view to expand out the wider Service Management aspects. To extract maximum value from these sessions the number of attendees will be limited, and the published agenda will only contain a small number of topics. Previous attendees have demonstrated a keen willingness to contribute to the lively and open discussions. The Forum has already engendered some excellent business collaborations and knowledge sharing and we look forward to encouraging these positive attributes going forward.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or would like to propose specific agenda items for this or future events. Let’s tackle these important business issues together by driving outcome-based discussion activity. I am excited to hear from you.
