The implementation of FCA ringfencing legislation provided this leading financial services company with an ideal opportunity to transform the way it provides technology services to the business. With a minimal brief of a ‘cloud first’ strategy, the senior leadership turned to KA2 to provide a team of expert SMEs with experience across a variety of technology and business management streams.
Working in partnership with the incumbent technology and business groups, the KA2 team listened to their frustrations with both the current technology stack and the operational processes that were inhibiting them from conducting business in the collaborative and location agnostic manner they desired. Based on their extensive experience in these areas, the KA2 team was able to rationalise this feedback into a series of white papers which explained the options available to build and manage a governance process. This enabled the customer to review and understand these options and to translate the output into an actionable three year technology transformation plan. This is very much the start of the journey to change the business and is work in progress.
