Looking Back at a Successful 2023 and Looking Forward to 2024!

Happy New Year! As we jump into 2024, we hope this year has begun positively for each of you. It is hard to believe that we have already reached the end of January.

Reflecting on a Remarkable 2023: Before we dive into the exciting developments of the current year, let us take a moment to celebrate the successes of 2023. Last year was truly remarkable for us, filled with achievements that paved the way for growth and innovation.

Project Delivery: The year marked the delivery of high-profile projects to a variety of customers across the energy, finance, insurance, and education sectors that showcased our commitment to excellence and innovation.

At the start of the year, we began working with a key player in the energy sector to support a business-wide transformation programme. To deliver a range of KA2-led process improvement initiatives, we designed and ran a series of workshops focused on enhancing secure access to the customer’s pivotal ERP system. Our efforts culminated in a ‘proof of concept,’ showcasing the semi-automation of critical processes through their ServiceNow platform.

Our Service Management consultants successfully guided a prominent provider of international schools through the rigorous nine-month ISO 20000 certification process, underscoring their commitment to operational excellence.  As part of this engagement, we re-engineered their Service Transition process from one in its infancy and not fully adopted in the organisation to a baselining activity supported by a robust, well-designed and well-understood process that all the global entities can follow.

A further testament to our capabilities was evidenced by facilitating the exit of a leading insurance provider’s data centre. Our involvement included the implementation of ServiceNow Service Mapping, contributing to the success of their intricate and time-critical project. Building on this achievement, we designed the Change module and CMDB modelling for a UK retail bank, demonstrating our versatility in meeting a wide range of diverse client needs.

KA2’s ServiceNow and Environmental experts continued to innovate in the Sustainability and ESG markets. The unveiling of the Sustainable IT module in the ServiceNow Vancouver release was a positive advance in supporting responsible business practices. Working closely with the ServiceNow ESG product team, we have tailored our carbon reporting solutions to integrate with the platform modules seamlessly, and we continue to collaborate with them to deliver market-leading, out-of-the-box ESG products.

Awards and Accolades: As we progressed through the year, our environmental solution, COzPro, won significant recognition. We secured accolades at the 23rd Annual FStech Awards, celebrated wins at the Digital Leaders 100 Awards, and received finalist nominations at the 2023 Edie Net Zero Awards and the edie Awards 2024. Our CEO, Chriss Andrews, was named the Most Influential CEO2023 (Kent) in the Technology Consulting category by CEO Monthly Magazine.

Accreditations: In addition to our project successes and awards, we achieved certification for ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards. These certifications bolster our company’s information security posture and business resilience and emphasise our dedication to consistently providing high-quality services.
