We are delighted to announce that KA2 has successfully achieved certification for ISO 9001 and ISO 7001 standards.
ISO/IEC 27001:2017 is an Information security management standard (ISMS) that structures how businesses should manage risk associated with information security threats; including policies, procedures, and staff training. Defined within the ISO 27001 standard are information security guidelines and requirements intended to protect our organisation’s data assets from loss or unauthorised access and recognised means of demonstrating our commitment to information security management through certification.
By gaining an ISO 27001 certification, we can assure our customers, partners, and other stakeholders that our company’s information security infrastructure meets their expectations.
ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard that is designed to be a powerful business improvement tool. Organisations such as KA2, use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
An ISO 9001 quality management system will help us to continually monitor and manage quality across our business so that we can identify areas for improvement. It is the world’s most widely adopted Quality Management System (QMS).
Achieving ISO 27001/9001 has not only improved our company’s cybersecurity posture, but it also demonstrates to our customers that they can expect to receive consistently high-quality services and that they can trust and that our business maintains best practices for quality and information security in the delivery of our services.
We are extremely proud of our achievement, and we would like to extend a special thanks to Karl Henneker, Head of Technology and Business Operations, who worked tirelessly over the past 12 months to ensure that we gained our certification.
