KA2 ASSOCIATE REFERRAL SCHEME

REFERRING AN INDIVIDUAL

At KA2, we are always looking to attract the best talent and experience in the freelance market.

When it comes to finding qualified, motivated talent, our existing Associate Network is in a great position to help us find the best practitioners.

We recognise that our existing Associates, who already meet these criteria, are likely to refer only those best suited to work in our organisation. Therefore, we wish to reward them for their referral efforts.

We provide the following incentives to thank our Associates for providing referrals of individuals to work on a range of projects:

  • £100 in retail vouchers of your choice for a referral that is subsequently engaged on assignment as an Associate
  • £10 per Associate for each day worked on assignment from initial engagement for a 12-month period subject to a fee cap of £1,500.

You qualify as a referrer when:

  • You refer someone to us, with their permission, who joins the KA2 Associate Network; and
  • Who is subsequently engaged on an assignment as an Associate within six months from the date of the initial referral.

The rules below will ensure that you are eligible for the referral fee.

The referred Associate:

  • Must undertake the Services with due diligence from the specified assignment start date
  • Must be present during the time or for the total number of hours during each day and/or week of the assignment
  • May not terminate an assignment without cause

Failure by the Associate to complete the assignment as required under the terms of their contract with KA2 shall constitute a breach of contract and shall entitle KA2 to withhold referral fee payments for any resulting loss suffered by KA2.

In addition, KA2 reserves the right to suspend or reduce payments if:

  • The referred Associate is in breach of any of its obligations to carry out the assignment
  • For any reason, the referred Associate proves unsatisfactory to KA2 or its client
  • If KA2’s client does not pay KA2 invoices (or parts of them) relating to the Associate’s assignment
  • The contract between KA2 and the customer is terminated for any reason

For the avoidance of doubt, the referrer will not be entitled to receive payment from KA2 for time not spent by the Associate on assignment, whether in respect of holidays, illness, or absence for any other reason.

In addition, should a referred Associate accept permanent employment by the customer at any time during or at the end of an initial engagement or any renewal then no further fee shall be payable.

Subject to the right to reduce or suspend payment, KA2 will pay the referrer for any services satisfactorily performed by the referred Associate, and subject to KA2’s client authorisation, through to the date of termination.

The following acceptance criteria apply to referral payments:

  • £100 in retail vouchers once KA2 has received the referred Associate’s first invoice
  • Verification of the actual days the referred Associate has worked since the start of their assignment
  • Quarterly Statement from KA2 detailing the authorised value of the referral fee against the number of days worked during that period. The referrer should then submit an invoice for the fee.
  • The invoice will be settled in accordance with the referrer’s Master Services Agreement

The recipient of the referral fee and retail vouchers will be responsible for their own tax and national insurance liability.

KA2 is not responsible if a voucher is lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without permission.

Right to Cancel, Modify or Terminate

KA2 reserve the right to cancel, modify or terminate this scheme for any reason, with no liability for any future payments. Referral fees are payable at the discretion of KA2.
