KA2 Welcomes Deborah Sowerbutts to Advisory Board

We’re excited to announce the newest addition to the KA2 advisory board: Deborah Sowerbutts. Deborah is a qualified Chartered Accountant (PriceWaterhouseCoopers) and seasoned senior executive with decades of experience in the financial services sector, both domestically and internationally. 

For the past 25 years, Deborah has navigated regulatory compliance for some of the world’s leading global institutions, including Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase. Her experience spans risk management, corporate governance, financial reporting, regulatory interactions and internal controls. 

Today, as founder and managing director of Rickard Associates, she partners with financial services firms around the world to help them address their regulatory and risk management challenges in a compliant manner. 

Deborah’s in-depth knowledge and expertise will help to guide KA2’s internal risk and controls posture, as well as those of KA2’s clients. Deborah joins KA2 at a crucial time, as uncertainty arising from COVID-19 and an ever-evolving risk landscape places greater focus on regulatory compliance and data security. 

Like all of us at KA2, Deborah understands the complexity and importance of compliance for today’s organisations, especially those in tightly regulated sectors. Her experience will be invaluable as we work to deliver outcomes-based technology transformations that strike the right balance between compliance and agility.
